As an intermediate kitesurfer you are now kitesurfing upwind consistently and looking to complete your IKO Level 3 by successfully completing a slide turn and landing a controlled jump or want to learn how to jump higher and master transitions.

You may also be looking to buy kites and boards but not sure what is right for you? This is an ideal opportunity to perfect your skills and fly the latest Ozone kites that we know are the perfect best value kite out there for 2010.

Your lesson is based on a 2 hour private coaching programme and a further 1 hour supervised kitesurf to practise your new skills and to enjoy kitesurfing the Ozone kites we use.

Intermediate lesson requirements

It is so important to be in control of your kite both on land and in the water so before you can join the day’s lesson we would need to see you demonstrate the following skills:

- Risk assess and select your launching zone
- Set up a 4 line kite
- Launch the kite using the correct signals.
- Perform a controlled body drag changing direction on two tacks.
- Land the kite at your exit point and walk back up the beach.

Congratulations you are now ready to perfect your water start and join our Progression session.

Your lesson is taught by a professional IKO / BKSA instructor and includes 2 hours private coaching followed by 1 hour supervised riding, an ideal opportunity to practise your nes skills in a safe enviroenment.

Your coaching is bespoke to you so will focus on whatever is needed to advance your skills making you a better and more competant kite surfer. Once your coaching time is completed we then hand you your own kite and board to continue with supervised riding.

Supervised kitesurfing is ideal to practise your new skills as there be beach assistance to hand and an instructot to pass on any tips you may need. Our beach and “kit abuse” rules apply

What do I bring?


What do I bring?

For this lesson you we recommend that you bring the following;

- Your own neoprene shoes
- Sunglasses
- Sun cream (if sunny)
- Swimming trunks not board shorts as under wetsuits are uncomfortable
- Towel and warm clothes
- If you have your own wetsuit please bring it with you as will no doubt be a better fit.

Its also worth bringing a bottle of water / drink and maybe a snack as this is intensive training.

Your instructor will assess your skills based on your demonstration and tailor the lesson plan to correct any current issues you may have with a view to getting you water starting consistently and travelling out and back to the beach in control.

Where possible we will also focus on upwind riding to get you back to the same point on the beach you launched from.

Additional supervised riding per hour – £25 – BOOK

All lessons include the kites, boards, wetsuits, life jackets, and harness as required for the duration of the lesson only.
