Kitesurfing Lessons – Brighton
Where to kite
Kitesurfing in Brighton is not possible in the summer as the beaches are just too crowded.
However in the winter months then it is possible from Madeira drive NOT Brighton beach but beware as the shore break is pretty savage.
This spot is for the advanced only that want to kite a rather nice wave that the wreck kicks up on on a strong south westerley.
Wind & Tides
Brighton is a south facing beach so the following wind directions work;
South East – Side on from the left
Southerly – On Shore
South West – Side shore from the right (this wind direction is best)
Brighton and Mediera Drive works best on a south westerley and 2 to 3 hours before and after low tide.
